Roots Millennium Schools Robotics Programme offers it students the opportunity to participate in robotics programs throughout the year. With entitling themselves with the Millennium Robotics Club MRC, working with robotics promotes essential workplace skills in youth ages 8-14. Students explore teamwork, collaboration and leadership while learning to appreciate science and technology. This effort teaches analytical, logical and critical thinking while engaging young people in fun activities. The goal is to cultivate a new crop of astronomers, biologists, physicists, engineers and other scientists. Millennials choosing the robotics track will experience the opportunity to build an autonomous Lego Mindstorms NXT robot and program the robot. Participants of the MRC program will learn robotic engineering principles while enjoying a fun, creative, hands-on learning experience on individual basis. They will develop valuable skills in: Engineering, Computer Programming, Science, Technology, Communication, Teamwork, Cooperation&Decision Making


About Millennium Robotics Programme


Build a hands-on science, engineering, and technology centric model for building and strengthening foundation in engineering for children from Grades 3 to 8. By starting today’s students to robotics hands-on technology early on will prepare their ability to deal with complex technology in their future.


Mission


We believe young students should be exposed to hands-on math, science, and engineering at a young age. Robotics introduces young students to engineering and motivates them to be involved in creating future technology. In addition, robotics allows young students to develop invaluable skills such as problem-solving, logical reasoning, critical thinking and creativity. These skills are highly-desirable for children who will succeed in the future.


What We Will Offer


Our school portfolio is tailored to the needs of childhood development and is especially good for stimulating role-play and developing logic. We are experts in the field of educational robotics. Young learners begin uncovering the world of robotics through basic activities and programming solutions available through our Robotics Construction Equipment. Middle-school students dive deeper into the robotics realm when they begin building up their own machines .For the advanced high school students we offer them to programme their machines and Robots through software that provides in-depth programming capabilities. Our robotics ecosystem is vast and comprehensive, and designed to be age appropriate and challenging for today’s tech-savvy classroom. By following Robotics education, resources, inspiration, and fun, teachers are able to motivate students to play an active role in their own learning process and to experience a real sense of personal achievement.

MRC provide opportunities for student to learn technology and engineering skills, gain experience working effectively in project teams, express their creativity and have fun and are inspired to explore future technology careers.


Our Work


We develop and deliver hands-on technology education for children. Our education programs are project and team-based, providing training and experience in teamwork and project management skills as well as training in mechanical engineering and design, software design and development, problem solving and debugging, and presentation skills.They also gain and an understanding of, and interest in, possible future careers in engineering, programming and other technical fields.
